How to Prevent Suicide

My artwork How to Prevent Suicide is dedicated to my brother, Michael Joseph Williams, who took his life nearly four years ago.  It is available for donation to a mental health professional, offering a comforting presence to those in need.

This piece aims to communicate harmony and hope through visual storytelling.
Because my mission as an artists is to communicate harmony through visual experiences it was difficult to express how to prevent suicide through art.  I  understand that “Preventing Suicide” means nothing to those in crisis. For those struggling with mental health, actionable cues like “Choose Life” may make a world of difference—this phrase offers a sense of control and choice for someone who feels they have none.
 
This piece aims to provide comforting and grounding experiences, fostering a sense of connection to family and loved ones, and guiding individuals toward a path of choosing life.
