Above the Clouds

“Above the Clouds,” captures a remarkable moment shared between my nephew Mason and me on our quest to hike a couple of 14ers in Colorado. 
We set out on a rainy day, but as we climbed, the weather worsened, wrapping the mountains in a thick  fog. We pressed on to the first summit, Mount Shavano.  But wisely descended, leaving Tabeguache Peak for another time.  
Upon our decent, the clouds parted, unveiling a breathtaking view. We were hiking above the clouds, gazing down into the valley below.
