Beaver Creek Powder Morning

As a skier, the anticipation of making first turns in quiet snow is thrilling.  As an artist, I see the untouched powder glisten like a blanket of diamonds. Each ski turn feels as if it were a brushstroke on a blank canvas. 
Back in my studio, I was called to channel that magic into my art, a departure from my normal style.  Transferring memories of skiing powder directly onto the canvas gives the viewer a magical yet realistic visual experience.  I hope you enjoy it!
