Cisco Cutoff

“Cisco Cutoff” After Vail Mountain closes for skiing, we leave and head west to Moab. 
Somewhere along the way we discovered the old Cisco Cutoff — a dramatic stretch following the Colorado River beneath towering canyon walls.  What began as a shortcut became part of the adventure itself. 
This painting captures that feeling of leaving winter behind and following the river into the warmth and quiet of canyon country.
